Ch'i is the origin and essence of life; with Ch'i everything grows;
without the flow of Ch'i, life stagnates. With Feng Shui
“effect = reflects”. There is a direct relationship between place
and a human's wellness. Most often a client will view unhappy events
and difficult situations as unrelated or a coincidence or random acts.
Bette has seen time and again that these life scenarios correspond to
the patterns in the environment and are linked to any host of design
details–a blocking wall, a hidden front door, a stairway or stove in the
middle of the house or a detached building on the lot. Color, lighting,
structure, position, decoration, direction–these shape your habits,
your physical and mental health, your performance, your relationships.
They impact the moods and personalities, decisions and ultimately the
course of events in a family's life. In her consultations, Bette takes
time to explain what a design detail is, its significance on your health,
your physical body, your emotions, your ability to focus and create
the life you love to live. She uses the Ever Changing Bagua, “the
template of life”, to address energetic fluctuations (i.e. missing areas,
bathroom placement, extensions, L-shape home, knife edge bedroom)
that influence the eight aspects or life situations–career, knowing
oneself, family, money, one's reputation, relationships, children and
helpful people. They are the pathways to living a balanced life. She
explains the Three Door Method and Relative Positioning, the main
precepts of the BTB School of Feng Shui. Most important, she takes
this esoteric training and translates it in a way that you will understand
its effects and impact on your home and on you. She helps you become
untangled and she shares ways to untie the knots so you find your true
nature just as she discovered hers through this markable philosophy of
Feng Shui. She shows you how the significance of ritual, ceremony and
the Three Secrets Reinforcements and how to apply them to amplify
